Our Pastor: Marino Mojtic

Pastor Marino Mojtic grew up in the town of Split, Croatia. There he finished his compulsory education. First he studied Medicine and planned to become a physician. Things changed when in 1993 the Lord met him and Marino desired to be obedient to what God had for him. In 1994 he went to study at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek. During the studies, he felt God’s call to go to Macedonia and serve there. After graduation in 1998, Marino arrived in Macedonia, and served under the leadership of Mircho Andreev in the Evangelical Church – Skopje. In 2004 with his family Marino continued his studies at the same Seminary to become Master of Theology in Biblical Studies. In 2006 Marino and the family returned to Macedonia and continued to serve with the Evangelical Church in different ministries. Marino has had a privilege to visit all of the local churches under the umbrella of the national office of the Evangelical Church in Macedonia, to see the Kingdom of God growing and the Word of God preached almost in every major town in Macedonia. In 2021 Marino was invited to serve as a Pastor of the International Church Skopje. For Marino it is an honor, privilege and responsibility to serve the Lord and minister to His people, so that all may come to the knowledge of Jesus and impact the world for the Kingdom.

Marino is married to Vesna and together they have two daughters, Kristina and Iva. Vesna is a great support and help in the ministry, especially ministering to women. She is not an active English speaker, though understands English. Kristina studies bio-chemical engineering, while Iva attends high school.

Church Governance
We follow a pastoral form of church governance with an advisory board in a co-laboring capacity. This mirrors the Evangelical churches of Macedonia of which we are one church.

Children’s Ministry (Currently on hold)
We rely upon volunteers to ensure that our children receive the best care and teaching possible.

Mercy Ministry
Generosity is a characteristic of those who follow Christ. Our Mercy Ministry joins hands with several local ministries: Lydia – a Beating Heart, ReTweet a Meal, Kindness and EC – Veles.

Small Group Ministry
The focus of our small groups is to reflect on the sermon of the week and to apply what we are learning. This is also the best way to find encouragement for yourself and to be an encouragement to others at ICS.
